I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about my mom.

I thought about a lot over the past few days, after seeing all the people, many who we met for the first time.

Things started to sink in.
Every person has something special to give and what my mom gave was the gift of love, family and marriage.

Not her love that was always unconditional but she taught us to love.
A strong family and a rock solid marriage that was envied.
She had a Master’s in this.

Family was her Master’s, with this she had graduated at the top of her class.
Dad and her life combined was her Doctorate in Life.

Like any degree, this takes work.
She has left us a clear path to follow and work at so that we can be as happy as she.
